Improved performance and sound for the front engine Ferrari is here. Through extensive testing and development, we have created a set of Hyper-Flow converters for the 550 that not only increase low and midrange torque, but also make a great improvement to the top end power as well. You will notice the traction control light coming on in situations it never did before, like 2nd and 3rd gear. Where the power on a stock 550 flattens out above 5500 RPM, a Hyper-Flow equipped 550 pulls hard all the way to the rev limiter. You will remember why you bought a Ferrari V12. The sound improvement of the Hyper-Flow converters is also a very welcome addition to any 550, no mater what other exhaust components you have in place. But for the ultimate sound for the 550, a set of Hyper-Flow Catalytic Converters paired with a Hyper-Flow X-Pipe and your choice of rear mufflers (including O.E.), will reward you with an automotive concert that will make everyone you come in contact with drool with envy.

There is more than just sound in this improvement. The air flow of the Hyper-Flow X-Pipe for the Ferrari 550 is so much better than original center muffler there is really no comparison. You will see improved power and throttle response through the entire RPM range. We have even found that the Hyper-Flow X-Pipe offers improved low end torque and a more pleasing sound than other center muffler replacement pipes on the market (you can’t even call some of them x-pipes). Speaking of sound, if you still have the O.E. center muffler on your 550, do yourself the favor of a Hyper-Flow X-Pipe. You will experience the way Ferrari intended your V12 to sound (they removed this center muffler on the 575).
